Soccer Game Preview: Pinnacle vs. Higley + How To Watch

The Pinnacle Pioneers will venture away from home to square off against the Higley Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Pinnacle is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Mesa on Wednesday. Neither the Pioneers nor the Jackrabbits could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw.

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Higley's offense. They fell just short of Basha by a score of 1-0 on Wednesday. The loss continues a trend for Higley in their meetings with Basha: they've now lost three in a row.

Higley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-1. With that draw, Pinnacle's record moves to 2-1-1.

Pinnacle took their win against Higley when the teams last played back in December of 2024 by a conclusive 8-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pioneers since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
