Volleyball Recap: Munford Comes Up Short

Munford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 3-1 to the Arlington Tigers. The Cougars were not able to make up for their loss to the Tigers from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Munford's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Arlington, they pushed their record up to 12-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Coming up, Munford will venture away from home to square off against Ripley at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Arlington has already played their next game (against Paragould), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
