Basketball Recap: York Institute Takes a Loss

York Institute was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a blow against the Jackson County Blue Devils, falling 81-42. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Dragons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 70-19 back in January.

York Institute's loss dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Jackson County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 20-2 record this season.

Looking ahead, York Institute will look to defend their home court on Monday against Cookeville at 6:00 p.m. As for Jackson County, they are taking a road trip to challenge Clay County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
