Palm Harbor University had won two straight road games and Skylar Shepherd did her part to make it three on Monday. The Hurricanes blew past the Countryside Cougars 3-0 thanks in part to Shepherd, who hit 87.5% for seven kills and 12 digs, four aces, and one block. She is on a roll when it comes to hitting percentage, as she's posted one of at least 42.9% in the last 31 games she's played dating back to last season.
Palm Harbor University's victory bumped their record up to 14-6. As for Countryside, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.
