Football Game Preview: Southern Prep Academy Rangers vs. North River Christian Chargers

The Southern Prep Academy Rangers are taking a road trip to challenge the North River Christian Chargers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Southern Prep Academy is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Alabama's top teams: Snook Christian Academy, who was ranked 18th at the time (Southern Prep Academy was ranked 22nd). The Rangers took a 26-22 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles on Friday.

Meanwhile, North River Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were dealt a 60-14 loss at the hands of Springwood.

North River Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Southern Prep Academy, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-6.

Everything came up roses for Southern Prep Academy against North River Christian in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 66-12 victory. Will the Rangers repeat their success, or do the Chargers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
