With a playoff win on the line, River Falls rose to the challenge on Friday. They blew past the La Crosse Central Riverhawks 50-24. Considering the Wildcats have won eight matchups by more than 22 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Joseph Tarasewicz continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 270 yards and five scores while picking up 15.0 yards per carry, and also picking up 73 receiving yards. His longest rush was for an incredible 73 yards. Another player making a difference was Tino Massa, who threw for 253 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: River Falls was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 316 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

The victory was the sixth in a row for River Falls, bringing their record up to 10-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 46.7 points over those games. As for La Crosse Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-4.

Looking ahead, River Falls will square off against Oshkosh North at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Spartans' defense has only allowed 13.8 points per game this season, so the Wildcats' offense will have their work cut out for them. La Crosse Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
