Recap: Bayside Marlins vs. Cox Falcons
Make it ten blowout wins for the Bayside Marlins this season. They put the hurt on Cox with a sharp 66-40 win on Tuesday. The victory was nothing new for Bayside as they're now sitting on three straight.
Jessie Ware was her usual excellent self, scoring 25 points along with nine steals and seven assists. Ware is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Micala Poe, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Bayside has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 10-7 record this season. As for Cox, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bayside will take on Landstown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cox, they will head out on the road to take on First Colonial at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. First Colonial is on a four-game streak of home losses, Cox a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change.
