Softball Recap: Alfred-Almond Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Alfred-Almond's offense. They lost 6-0 to the Addison Knights on Wednesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-0 back in April.

This is the second loss in a row for Alfred-Almond and nudges their season record down to 2-11. As for Addison, they pushed their record up to 6-4 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, Alfred-Almond will face off against Campbell-Savona at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Addison, they will take on Williamson at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Knights' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Warriors have averaged an impressive 7.7 runs per game this season.
