Central of Clay County entered their tilt with Handley on Wednesday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Handley Tigers by a score of 11-6. This was a revenge game for the Volunteers: when they faced off against the Tigers back in February, they had to take a 8-7 defeat.

Central of Clay County now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Handley, they dropped their record down to 6-3 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Central of Clay County will be playing at home against Benjamin Russell at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Handley, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Handley Tigers duke it out with Central of Coosa County Cougars at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
