Basketball Game Preview: Model Patriots vs. Burgin Bulldogs

Model and Burgin are an even 3-3 against one another since December of 2014, but not for long. The Model Patriots will be playing at home against the Burgin Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Model's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three games.

Last Saturday, everything came up roses for Model against Lynn Camp as the squad secured an 81-43 victory.

Meanwhile, Burgin came into Tuesday's matchup having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They snuck past Louisville Collegiate with a 50-45 win on Tuesday.

Burgin's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-10. As for Model, their win ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 8-9.
