Softball Game Preview: Monrovia Wildcats vs. Temple City Rams

Monrovia hasn't had much luck against Temple City recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Wildcats are taking a road trip to challenge the Rams at 3:30 p.m. Monrovia has given up an average of 10.5 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Monrovia took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They came out on top against San Marino by a score of 17-13. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Titans recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Temple City had just enough and edged out South Pasadena 8-6 on Tuesday.

Monrovia pushed their record up to 6-12-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.3 runs over those games. As for Temple City, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-8.
