Softball Game Preview: Como-Pickton Eagles vs. Shiner Comanches

For the second straight game, Como-Pickton will face off against Shiner. The Eagles will square off against the Comanches at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Como-Pickton 3.3, Shiner 2.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Como-Pickton heads in on the heels of a playoff game on Wednesday. They lost 13-1 to Shiner. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Eagles have suffered since February 28th.

The win (which was Shiner's ninth in a row) raised their record to 20-6. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games.
