Volleyball Recap: Sioux Valley Takes a Loss

Sioux Valley lost against Hamlin back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cossacks came up short against the Chargers, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Cossacks have suffered against the Chargers since October 4, 2022.

While Sioux Valley was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Hamlin's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-20, 25-21.

Sioux Valley has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-7 record this season. As for Hamlin, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 13-4.

Looking ahead, after both having extra time off, Sioux Valley and Arlington will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hamlin, they will be playing in front of their home fans against DeSmet at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
