Baseball Recap: Elmwood Park Takes a Loss

After flying high against Streamwood on Thursday, Elmwood Park came back down to earth. The Tigers fell 4-1 to the Glenbard South Raiders on Monday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 9-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Elmwood Park saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Leobel Chan, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

Elmwood Park's loss dropped their record down to 10-12-1. As for Glenbard South, they pushed their record up to 16-17 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

While Elmwood Park had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
