Winnebago gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They breezed past the Homer Knights to the tune of 76-35. The win continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won four in a row.

Winnebago found their leader in sophomore Osi Earth, who shot 82% from the field to rack up 20 points along with six rebounds and four steals. Another player making a difference was Rahikim Free-Bass, who went 5-for-7 en route to 14 points.

Winnebago was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Homer only posted seven.

Winnebago wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 66-33 victory against Walthill on the 5th. As for Homer, they have also already played their next matchup, a 50-27 defeat against Lyons-Decatur Northeast on the 6th.
