Softball Recap: St. Georges Tech Comes Up Short

St. Georges Tech managed to slip by Red Lion Christian Academy the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Hawks lost 12-2 to the Lions on Monday. The Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brooklynne Mullen made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. Another player making a difference was Kate Crook, who got on base in both of her plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

St. Georges Tech's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Red Lion Christian Academy, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Georges Tech will square off against Appoquinimink at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Red Lion Christian Academy, they will face off against Wilmington Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
