Softball Recap: West Valley Eagles vs. University Prep Panthers

In what's become a running theme this season, West Valley gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the University Prep Panthers with a sharp 8-2 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for West Valley.

Aubree Wertz made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched 6.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits. Wertz has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't pitched less than six innings in four consecutive pitching appearances. Wertz was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4.
