Softball Game Preview: South Side Hornet vs. Bradford Eagles

South Side is a perfect 3-0 against Bradford since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The South Side Hornet will welcome the Bradford Eagles at 4:30 p.m. Neither South Side nor Bradford posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

On Tuesday, South Side didn't have quite enough to beat Lonoke and fell 2-1.

Meanwhile, Bradford unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against Cedar Ridge on Tuesday, falling 11-0. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

South Side came out on top in a nail-biter against Bradford when the teams last played back in May of 2017, sneaking past 1-0. Will South Side repeat their success, or does Bradford have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
