Forbush won the last time they faced Elkin and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Falcons put the hurt on the Buckin' Elks with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Falcons.

While Forbush won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-18, 27-25.

Caroline Johnson paced Forbush's offense, picking up 14 kills. Johnson got some help from Kendyl Berrier and her 33 assists.

Forbush's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Elkin, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Forbush will face off against East Forsyth at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Elkin, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Mount Airy at 6:00 p.m. on the 25th.
