Volleyball Recap: Plainwell Find Success

Plainwell won the last time they faced Chelsea and things went their way on Saturday too. The Trojans walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Bulldogs. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Trojans.

Despite the loss, Chelsea saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Ava Skrypec had 12 digs and two aces. Those 12 digs set a new season-high mark for Skrypec.

The win got Plainwell back to even at 7-7. As for Chelsea, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-6-1.

Plainwell has already played their next game (against Lakeview), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Chelsea, they will challenge Huron at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
