Soccer Recap: South Laurel's Undefeated Season over After Five Games

South Laurel managed to keep up with North Laurel until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Cardinals lost 4-1 to the Jaguars. South Laurel haven't had much luck with North Laurel recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Having lost for the first time this season, South Laurel fell to 4-1. As for North Laurel, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 2-4-1 record.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. South Laurel is set to challenge their familiar foe Corbin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, North Laurel will face off against rival Whitley County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
