Baseball Recap: South Fulton Takes a Loss

If South Fulton was riding high fresh off their 12-2 takedown of Gleason last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Red Devils took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Greenfield Yellowjackets on Monday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Red Devils of the 8-5 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

South Fulton's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Greenfield, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 13-3.

While South Fulton had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
