Edison scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They took a blow against the Burbank Bulldogs, falling 94-55. The Golden Bears' loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Despite the loss, Edison still got an impressive performance from Allison Ramirez, who went 6 for 8 from beyond the arc on her way to 20 points. The dominant performance gave Ramirez a new career-high in points. Mariah Lara was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Even though they lost, Edison was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Burbank to victory, but perhaps none more so than Zara?Nique Nealy, who went 13 of 23 on her way to 30 points along with 12 boards and ten assists. Nealy's evening made it 11 games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nyila Botello, who went 15 of 23 on her way to 33 points and three steals.

Edison's defeat dropped their record down to 6-20. As for Burbank, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a massive bump to their 16-11 record this season.

When Edison and Burbank next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Edison will try to stop Brackenridge's four-game winning streak when the meet at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
