Basketball Recap: Lanier Christian Academy Extends Home Winning Streak to Ten

Lanier Christian Academy had won nine straight home games dating back to last season and Nolan Roberts did his part to make it ten on Tuesday. The Lanier Christian Academy Lightning blew past the Killian Hill Christian Cougars 67-21 thanks in part to Roberts, who went 8 for 15 en route to 20 points and four steals. Those 20 points gave him a new career-high.

Killian Hill Christian's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ronald Skeete, who posted eight points.

Lanier Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season. As for Killian Hill Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-18.

Lanier Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 79-47 win against Trinity Prep on the 30th. Killian Hill Christian has also already played their next contest, a 100-37 defeat against Horizon Christian Academy on the 31st.
