Baseball Recap: Maryvale Takes a Loss

Maryvale lost against Shadow Ridge back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Panthers lost 12-2 to the Stallions. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Maryvale saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Daniel Rodriguez, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Maryvale's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Shadow Ridge, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-9-2 record this season.

Maryvale wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 1-0 loss against Browne on the 10th. As for Shadow Ridge, they will challenge Mountain Ridge at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. The Mountain Lions will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Stallions surely won't give up without a fight.
