McDowell waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the General McLane Lancers as they made off with a 13-5 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 11-0 on Thursday.

McDowell's victory bumped their record up to 8-4. As for General McLane, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. McDowell will take on rival Harbor Creek at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, General McLane is set to square off against their familiar foe Fort LeBoeuf at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
