Basketball Recap: Roosevelt/Heritage Academy Comes Up Short

After flying high against Community of Peace Academy last Wednesday, Roosevelt/Heritage Academy came back down to earth. Roosevelt/Heritage Academy fell 81-73 to the Minneapolis South Tigers on Wednesday. Roosevelt/Heritage Academy was not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Minneapolis South earlier this season, when they won 79-70.

Roosevelt/Heritage Academy's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 8-6. As for Minneapolis South, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 9-13.

Roosevelt/Heritage Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Minneapolis South, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, an 81-73 victory against Roosevelt on the 12th.
