Basketball Recap: Gwinn Piles Up the Points Against Manistique

Gwinn's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Manistique Emeralds 64-17. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Modeltowners also won the last time the pair played back in January.

Gwinn pushed their record up to 1-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.2 points per game. As for Manistique, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Gwinn will take on North Dickinson in a holiday battle at at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Manistique, they will be home for the holidays to greet Negaunee at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
