Apollo posted their biggest victory since December 13, 2024 on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 73-47 margin over the Somerset Academy Losee Lions. The Hawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 26 points or more this season.

Apollo's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jamo Turner, who went 7 of 15 en route to 21 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Cristian Acevedo, who went 5 for 6 on his way to 17 points and six rebounds.

Several Lions players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Daniel Bristol, who posted 12 points. Another player making a difference was Roderick Johnson, who had nine points.

Apollo now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Somerset Academy Losee, they now have a losing record at 6-7.

Apollo has already played their next match, a 56-55 defeat against Pinnacle on the 10th. As for Somerset Academy Losee, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 75-14 victory against Amplus Academy on the 6th.
