Ripley scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 68-50 bruising from the Lincoln Cougars. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cougars apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Sadie Adams had an outrageously good game for Lincoln as she went 8-for-10 on her way to 21 points. Those 21 points gave Adams a new career-high. Brystol Toth was another key player, as she made all 6 shots she took for 12 points.

Ripley has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for Lincoln, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-10.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Ripley beat Lincoln by a score of 53-39 on Saturday.
