Volleyball Recap: Canyon Springs Comes Up Short

Canyon Springs lost against Hemet back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Cougars came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 3-0. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Canyon Springs was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Hemet work for it, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-12, 26-24, 25-8.

Canyon Springs' loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Hemet, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 17 of their last 18 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-3 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Canyon Springs will square off against rival Rancho Verde at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Hemet is set to challenge their familiar foe Heritage at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
