Baseball Recap: Nimitz Takes a Loss

Nimitz was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the MacArthur Generals, falling 16-4. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Generals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-1 last Tuesday.

Nimitz saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Juan Arana, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Nimitz's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for MacArthur, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-6.

Nimitz didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 6-0 loss against Aldine on the 18th. As for MacArthur, they have also already played their next game, an 11-1 win against Eisenhower on the 18th.
