Baseball Recap: New Hope Comes Up Short

New Hope saw some tournament action on Thursday. They came up short against the MICDS Rams, falling 10-4. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

New Hope saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grant Maples, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. Lucas Terry also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Even though they lost, New Hope always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .545. The last time their OBP was this high was March 3rd.

New Hope's loss dropped their record down to 9-11. As for MICDS, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.
