Basketball Recap: San Fernando Valley Academy Takes a Loss

San Fernando Valley Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through an 88-24 loss at the hands of the Arcadia Apaches.

Success Coupet and Maddon Corcios certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Coupet posted nine points, while Corcios had no points. Coupet is also crushing it when it comes to blocks: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season.

San Fernando Valley Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Arcadia, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

San Fernando Valley Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Newbury Park Adventist at 7:00 p.m. on December 2. As for Arcadia, they are taking a road trip to take on St. Francis at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Apaches will be up against the Golden Knights' rather soft defense (which has allowed 52.75 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
