Cajon has gone 9-0-1 against Citrus Valley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Cajon Cowboys are taking a road trip to challenge the Citrus Valley Blackhawks at 5:30 p.m. Cajon will be strutting in after a victory while Citrus Valley will be coming in after a defeat.

Cajon will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any goals on Thursday, then bounced right back against Redlands on Tuesday. Cajon blew past Redlands 4-1. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Cowboys' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

They hit Redlands with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Darey Zamora (2), Christopher Miguel, and Diego Rodas.

Meanwhile, Citrus Valley's game on Tuesday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of Beaumont by a score of 2-1. The loss continues a trend for the Blackhawks in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now lost five in a row.

Citrus Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11-2. As for Cajon, they moved to 14-8-2 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Everything went Cajon's way against Citrus Valley in their previous matchup two weeks ago, as Cajon made off with a 5-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Cajon since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
