Baseball Recap: St. Francis Continues Road Dominance on Saturday

St. Francis came out on top against Bartlett on Saturday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run second inning. The Spartans walked away with an 8-4 win over the Hawks. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Spartans also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

St. Francis pushed their record up to 9-3 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 7.7 runs. As for Bartlett, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-9-1.

Looking ahead, St. Francis will face off against Saint Viator at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bartlett, they will take on West Aurora at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Blackhawks will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something the Hawks surely won't give up without a fight.
