Soccer Game Preview: Grace Christian vs. Emmanuel Christian

The Grace Christian Lions will face off against the Emmanuel Christian Crusaders at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Grace Christian has three straight wins, Emmanuel Christian has five straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

Back in September, Grace Christian earned a 4-2 victory over Maranatha Christian.

Meanwhile, Emmanuel Christian managed to keep up with Northside Christian School until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Crusaders came up short against the Eagles, falling 4-1. Having soared to a lofty five goals in the game before, Emmanuel Christian couldn't push the score so high this time.

Their goal came courtesy of Tristin Larymore, which was the first he's scored this season.

Emmanuel Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Grace Christian, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Grace Christian took their victory against Emmanuel Christian in their previous matchup back in August by a conclusive 5-1 score. In that matchup, the Lions amassed a halftime lead of 4-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Tuesday.
