Volleyball Recap: Bret Harte Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Bret Harte was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Liberty Ranch Hawks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bullfrogs of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

While Bret Harte ultimately came up short, they really made Liberty Ranch work, particularly in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 26-24, 25-10.

Liberty Ranch can attribute much of their success to Lily Pittman, who had 15 digs and two aces. That's the most digs Pittman has posted since back in October of 2024.

Bret Harte now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Liberty Ranch, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Coming up, Bret Harte will host Hughson at 6:00 p.m. on the 4th. As for Liberty Ranch, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Laguna Creek on the 27th.
