Softball Game Preview: Sebring Blue Streaks vs. Bartow Yellow Jackets

The Sebring Blue Streaks will square off against the Bartow Yellow Jackets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Sebring is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Frostproof just ended the team's eight-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 4-3. Blue Streaks fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Bulldogs since on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Bartow made easy work of George Jenkins on Wednesday and carried off a 9-2 victory. The result was nothing new for the Yellow Jackets, who have now won eight games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Bartow has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. Sebring's defeat dropped their record down to 8-2.
