Basketball Game Preview: White Knoll Timberwolves vs. Lexington Wildcats

White Knoll is 2-8 against Lexington since February of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The White Knoll Timberwolves will be playing in front of their home fans against the Lexington Wildcats at 2:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

White Knoll fought the good fight in their overtime game against Laurens on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 67-63 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Raiders. While losing is never fun, the Timberwolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 86th, while the Raiders are ranked 30th).

Meanwhile, Lexington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were outmatched by Dutch Fork and fell 82-36. The match marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

White Knoll now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Lexington, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-11.
