Carver waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They put the hurt on the Abington Green Wave with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.
The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Carver was: they took every set by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-14, 25-13.
Josie Helms paced Carver's offense, picking up eight kills. Helms were helped by Devyn Mullen and Riley Jenkins, who contributed six assists each. Maeve Zakrzewski controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.
Carver's victory bumped their record up to 14-2. As for Abington, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.
