Football Recap: Huntingdon Bearcats vs. Richland Rams
Huntingdon lost against Richland back in September of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Huntingdon Bearcats were dealt a 50-7 loss at the hands of the Richland Rams. While losing is never fun, the Bearcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 401st, while the Rams are ranked 154th).
Elliott Guisler threw for 85 yards and a touchdown.
Evan Edmiston was his top target, picking up 68 receiving yards. On the ground,
Cole Lane rushed for 29 yards.
Huntingdon dropped their record down to 0-2 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Richland, the win also got them back to even at 1-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Huntingdon will take on Bellwood-Antis at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Richland, they will face off against Westmont Hilltop at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
