Basketball Recap: Coleman Comes Up Short

Coleman played a tough contest on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against the Crivitz Wolverines, falling 73-47. The loss continues a trend for the Cougars in their meetings with the Wolverines: they've now lost nine in a row.

Despite the loss, Coleman still got an impressive performance from Kolton Peters, who went 6-for-13 on his way to 15 points and five assists. Peters is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Braeden Dufeck, who posted nine points and seven rebounds.

Coleman's record now sits at 2-6. As for Crivitz, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-2.

Coming up, Coleman will be home for the holidays to greet Cambria-Friesland at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Crivitz, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Oconto at 10:30 a.m. on the 29th.
