            Softball Recap: Bentonville West Wolverines vs. Farmington Cardinals        
        
		
        
        
            Bentonville West lost against Farmington back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Saturday. Bentonville West fell just short of Farmington by a score of  8-7. The Wolverines have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Stephanie Crittenden made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  went 2-for-5 with one  triple and two  RBI. That  triple marked the first that  she  hit this season. Another player making a difference was  Regan Crusinbery, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3.
 Crittenden wasn't the only one working in the  hit department: Bentonville West  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 11  hits. This was only their first loss (out of four games) when  they post 11 or more  hits.
Bentonville West's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Farmington, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record  this season.
 Bentonville West will look to defend their home field  on  the 31st against Gravette  at 5:00  p.m. As for Farmington, they will venture away from home to  square off against Mountain Home  at 5:00  p.m.  on April 1.
