Volleyball Recap: Albany Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Albany can now relate to. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the New Life Academy Eagles on Saturday. The Huskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Despite the loss, Albany still got an impressive performance from Katie Brickweg, who had ten digs and two assists. Brickweg has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last five times she's played.

Albany's loss dropped their record down to 28-5. As for New Life Academy, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 27-4-1.

As of now, neither Albany nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
