Soccer Game Preview: Waxahachie vs. Grapevine

The Waxahachie Indians will square off against the Grapevine Mustangs at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Waxahachie's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

If Grapevine heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when Waxahachie took over last week. Waxahachie sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over Lake Ridge on Saturday. Two seems to be a good number for the Indians as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of goals in their previous game.

Meanwhile, Grapevine and Princeton finished up their contest with a 0-0 draw on Tuesday.

Grapevine's draw makes their record 2-1-2 this season. As for Waxahachie, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.
