Soccer Recap: Brockway Comes Up Short at Home Against Dubois

Brockway unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They fell 3-1 to the DuBois Beavers on Wednesday. The matchup was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Brockway couldn't quite close it out.

Their goal came courtesy of Caleb Daugherty.

The victory was the third in a row for DuBois, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brockway is headed away from home for the first time to take on Ridgway at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for DuBois, they will square off against Fairview at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
