Baseball Game Preview: Stewarts Creek Red Hawks vs. Lebanon Blue Devils

For the second straight game, Stewarts Creek will face off against Lebanon. The Red Hawks will welcome the Blue Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The last three games Stewarts Creek has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Stewarts Creek is headed into the matchup having just suffered their closest loss since March 17th on Tuesday. They fell just short of Lebanon by a score of 5-3.

Jeff Moran was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over 4.1 innings pitched. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in March.

The victory (which was Lebanon's third in a row) raised their record to 10-8-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Stewarts Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-12.
