Recap: Corinth Holders Pirates vs. Cleveland Rams
The Corinth Holders Pirates's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They suffered a rough 82-61 loss at the hands of Cleveland. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Corinth Holders lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Evan Smith, who scored 23 points along with six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaylon Holder, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds.
Corinth Holders' defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Cleveland, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 7-6 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Corinth Holders' road trip will continue as they head out to face South Garner at 7:45 p.m. on January 9th. Hopefully South Garner focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Friday. As for Cleveland, they will head out on the road to face off against Willow Spring at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
