Volleyball Game Preview: Central Golden Eagles vs. Baystate Academy

The Central Golden Eagles will square off against Baystate Academy at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Central not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 17th (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on Sci-Tech with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Central walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-15, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Baystate Academy narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Agawam 3-2.

Baystate Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 26-28, 17-25, 25-20, 25-20, 15-11.

Central's win bumped their record up to 13-2. As for Baystate Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 7-8.
